Account and data deletion

These instructions apply to Shiori - AI Chat on Android and the Shiori web app.

Delete your Shiori account

  1. Sign in to Shiori.
  2. Open Settings, then select Account.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field and select Delete.

You can also request deletion by emailing hello@shiori.ai from the address associated with your account.

Delete individual data without deleting your account

You can delete individual conversations from the chat list and remove individual AI memories from Settings > Memories. For help deleting other account data, email hello@shiori.ai from your account email address.

What deletion removes

Account deletion removes your profile, conversations, uploaded files, generated content, AI memories, Kiroku documents, integration tokens, and active sessions from Shiori's active systems.

Data that may be retained

Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for a reasonable period until routine backup rotation completes. Billing and transaction records may be retained as required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and other legal obligations. Retained records are restricted to those purposes.
